This surprises you? YOU? After all the drum loops we've stolen from Muslimgauze that sounded awesome mostly because they were rife with hard-clipping (and delay effects)?

But you might as well record your own — I’m very curious to know how the Radias handles a round trip through the dirty, woofy Evolver filer + distortion!
I suppose you’re right about the endless knobs without visual feedback… I agree that LEDs + endless knobs are a killer combo (I’m thinking of the Nord Lead series) but I’m sure that’s mega-expensive too.

Hey Jonah, unfortunately the machine I used for recording is packed up in a box at the moment… When I dig it out, I’ll upload a lossless audio file for ya. I want to load the Radias waveforms into my Evolver and then maybe filter it through the Radias again! I was hoping you could upload the files if you did. I do have a Radias, but it would save time if you already have it recorded.
Or maybe you could tell me how to make anti-aliased waveforms?
I agree the Radias has unique sonics that I would like to experiment with more. Thanks for shedding light on the mechanics of it all!
One point, endless encoders without visual feedback would have been less fun than knobs that stop. You could never trust the marker on the knob now. Although the filter type knob might have been really interesting as endless.
Endless encoders would be better if they were like the behringer bcr2000's solution with LEDs, but they would've added to the cost of manufacturing and engineering(maybe the size of the unit as well). So much of the joy of using the Radias is in using the sequencers with multiple timbres and it may have been worth the cost, but using the bcr2000 with the software to control the sequencer(s) works really well and is probably cheaper too! Wiggling the knob when switching timbres doesn't bug me.

Did you happen to to save the recordings?
